How Spannr handles account data, inspection media, customer information, and AI-generated explanations.

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: account details (name, email), shop information, inspection data (photos, notes, vehicle details), customer contact information you enter, and billing status needed to provide the Service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service, generate AI-translated inspection notes, send inspection reports to your customers, and communicate service updates.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. Inspection photos are stored in secure cloud storage accessible only to authorized shop members.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only as necessary to: provide the Service (e.g., sending customer reports via email), process payments, comply with legal obligations, or with your explicit consent.
5. Payments
Trial and subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment details you enter at checkout. Spannr stores billing status and related identifiers needed to provide the Service, and does not store full payment card numbers.
6. AI Processing
Inspection notes may be processed by AI (OpenAI) to generate customer-friendly language. This data is processed according to our data processing agreements and is not used to train AI models.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. Shop owners can export or delete their shop data through account settings.
